In the southwest corner of Vas County you can find land full of forests and meadows where guardians of the country were settled during the Hungarian conquest. Its name derives from these: Őrség (in English: Guard or Watch post). 1/8

The Red Festival is held in Izhevsk every year. The festival, which demonstrates the characteristic features of the Udmurts, consists of a number of events. The main event is the closing event , the Red Parade.

"The seven wonder of the Finno-Ugric world" project was held in 2010. Participants were members of Finno-Ugric peoples who voted to 7 wonders in 4 different categories.

Hortobágy National Park is home to the world's second largest wild horse herd. Of the nearly 2,200 wild animals registered worldwide, approximately 300 live here.

The cemetery of Szatmárcseke is one of the most misterious place in Hungary. There are two reason for it. The first is that Ferenc Kölcsey, the author of the national anthem, was buried here. The second reason is the peciular shaped wooden headboard.
